Technology

Natural Flax Technology (NFT)

Experience the unique feel of riding a flax surfboard. Our Natural Fibre Technology, combines natural composite reinforcements to create a feel that is both organic and vibrant. These boards are crafted with 50% naturally derived fibres by volume, paired with E-glass to enhance durability. Each layer is meticulously vacuum- bagged under pressure, maximising the bond and minimizing excess resin for an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio. The use of natural fibres not only reduces the reliance on fibreglass but also enhances dampening, resulting in a responsive and predictable ride. The simple elegance of the lay-up design is only rivalled by the performance it delivers.

FUSED CELL EPS CORE – Provides more response + floatation
WOOD STRINGER – Dependable flex from the first wave + adds linear strength
NATURAL FIBRE REINFORCEMENT – Renewable, reliable, resilient and real smooth
HIGH QUALITY E-GLAS FIBREGLASS – E-glass sets the industry standard for high strength-to-weight ratio
CLEAR HD EPOXY RESIN – Epoxy resin with high thermo-mechanical performance
