Fave Five With Carve

The guys over at Carve have been grilling me for my ‘Fave Five’ in the latest issue:
Surfers:
1. Kelly Slater – He’s bald, he rips, he’s been the best for years and he gets smoking hot girls, what more could you ask for?
2. Alex Baker -Grown up with the kid, he surfs so good and a really good friend so always good to share waves with a mate.
3. Micheal Bourez – I like the way he surfs, really powerful, good style and got everything you need; charges big barrels, sick air and mental turns.
4. The Hopgoods – Goofy and absolutely rip, I love their styles.
5. Russel Winter & Reubyn Ash – The two best surfers from England. Russ showed us all the world tour is achievable and that we can beat the best in the world, and Reubs that we can perform at the cutting edge of ‘now’ surfing – and they just push it for the rest of us.

5. The first three were a joke, just running out of ideas and put on the spot for answears and me computers only got 6% battery left!
Fads:
1. My Blackberry – Like a mobile computer and more important looking than an iPhone.
2. Macbook – Everyone wants one, every pro has one, got a hell cliché around them and they’re sick.
3. Training.
4. Hunting for ladies
5. Cooking – All girls love a man who can cook and I don’t just man Spag Bol.
