Shore Demo Days

Just a quick write up about the recent demo at Shore Watersports.
The surf conditions were tiny, so the SUPs were always out and everybody enjoyed them. With the 11′ Takiama Alii defiantly being the flavour of the day.
However the weather was unreal! Almost tropical which helped tempt more people into the water. Lots of  enquirers, the lots of you very much into the SUPs and the old classic longboards, especially the 9’0″ Noah.
All you groms were loving the 6’4″ Rusty Piranha with everyone liking the fact O’Neil were on hand to provide wetsuits from their new 09 range!
The board that impressed me most was the 9’0″ R. August What I Ride. That board would glide with ease over the small waves.
Longboards proved to be a big success on the day as well with the typically under rated 8’6″ Yater HPLB not leaving the water once the whole time! Proving to be a good all round fun board. The 7’6″ Corky Carroll in wood was a bit of a novelty and everybody wanted to get their mits on that.
Here are some shots we got over the weekend:
