Ashley Braunton Wins Second Hotdoggers contest

Surftech rider Ashley Braunton has won the 2nd league contest of the Hotdoggers surf club, in the open division. The conditions were 4-5 ft offshore AM / 5ft blown out cross shore PM:
I won this event, held in solid stormy conditions I had been riding my new board for a couple of weeks by then and was beginning to get the feel for it, in the end I would have won the final on one of my scoring waves.
Ashley was ripping on his 9’0″ Robert August Saber:
I picked up my new boards just recently (a 9’0” Robert August Saber and a 9’1” McTavish fireball) and haven’t got off of the saber! I have been riding it pretty much everyday and am really getting the feel for it, I got the McTavish for small waves but took my saber out this week in small weak conditions and have been flying, landing my first full air on it in waist high waves.
