Board Review
Proven Design concepts from the classic nose riding models of the 60's blended with the current surfboard design and production methodologies, results in a one-of-a-kind classic.
The wide nose utilizing a flat planing surface underneath, provides for the longest, tightest nose rides possible. Modern tail-rocker and its light weight, allow this model to rip in any conditions.

This is a great little board. I've owned both the Tuflite and the wood veneer models and would recommend it to smaller/lighter surfers.
I'm a big guy at 6,1 and 14st and it made me work at my paddling!
I found it like a bit of size to really make it come alive though my wife rode it in small surf at Saunton and loved it. Dont be fooled by the dimensions. The board is only 3" thick in the very middle, tapering to finely foiled nose and tail. The rails are low and thin and have what Mark Martinson calls his 'soft edge'. The bottom is flat, no concave and no vee or roll. This gives the board a very skatey feeling though the wide outline does feel stable. This is far better board than it's 10 foot step-deck cousin, also shaped for Surftech by Mark Martinson. That just didn't seem to work at all for me but the 9,4 did and I enjoyed every go out on it.
