The "eggy" shape allows the rider to trim high on the wave in the middle of the board or race down the line on the tail. The perfect beginners board because the overall forgiving shape allows for floatation in small waves while the swallow tail keeps it holding in overhead waves.

What we would call an in between board. If you're coming down from a long board or stepping up from a short board, the egg equals fun. Also Suitable for for bigger and novice surfers, the wide nose coupled with the rounded tail provides
ultimate projection in fun sized waves.

Great wave catcher and more than loose enough to carve out some really nice top and bottom turns, roundhouses and lip smackers... Ride it high on the wave in the middle of the board or carve it from the tail... It does both, although I find myself riding it the classic way because it does that so well!... Great board, give it a go... you'll love it!
