Bear - 9'6" All Around

The all-rounder tag is often over used but this is one board that truelly deserves the name. This board was an eye-opener for me.
After riding ten foot single fins for years I decided to try a shorter more manouverable board. The Bear 9,6 has a lot of volume, and this translates into paddling comfort and wave catching ease. I was very surprised how well it caught waves, but what really amazed me was how good it was for noseriding. I initially though it would go best in bigger surf but I soon found I was using it in everything from 1 foot slop to overhead grinders. I really grew to love and trust this board and only changed it because I wanted to try others in the range. If you only have one board make it this one. Soft rails in the nose with a nice concave going into a flatter bottom in the middle with nice thick rails and ending with a nice hard edge in the tail for release.
A great design and just flat out fun ! Try one... they're magic.
