McCoy

Team Riders: Cheyne Horan

Geoff McCoy was born in Australia into a post-war community. An accomplished athlete at school and also a competent horseman, Goeff spent all of his school holidays with this Aunt and Uncle at their seaside home in Avoca Beach. It was here that he first learned to surf and what was to become his lifelong passion. Upon leaving school, Geoff went on to complete an apprenticeship in pattern making, a precise and exacting craft. It was this vocation, with it's extremely accurate standards which has set Geoff apart from his contemporaries, forming the basis of his shaping skills and knowledge of design.

“The Nugget is the most exciting, practical and functional design on which I have worked, ”says Geoff. “This surfboard incorporates all of the knowledge and skill which I have accumulated from my many years as a world renowned designer, shaper and manufacturer. It’s the ultimate vehicle for anyone.”

The Nugget includes these features:
• Extra thickness for paddling power and speed.
• Full plan shape for consistent speed and flow.
• Area tail for greater maneuverability and drive.
• Unique bottom curve - the amazing loaded dome neutralizes reaction giving more control.

Board Review
This board was the starting point of the modern short board which has continued to this day.
This concept was created for quick short arc, high performance surfing.
To take advantage of the Lazor Zap, you need to be a high level surfer. Now designed as as 3 fin version.

Wider, thicker and shorter with more volume and buoyancy than you've had before. Easy to paddle, easy to control with more speed than you have had in years and when it starts to barrel, you will be laughing.

Board Review
For big surfers that don't want to ride a Malibu. Will paddle well for surfers up to 100kg only restricted by the surfer.
This board will make you want to go surfing again. It really is a lot of fun.

Board Review
This is a great board for anyone that wants to have 'fun' or bigger surfers that want a board they can throw around. Easy to paddle and very manoeuvrable. If you can do the moves, the board will not restrict you.
Has to be ridden to be believed.
