Wayne Lynch

Many surfers consider Wayne Lynch to be the primary pioneer of the 70’s short-board revolution. He is world-class shaper renown for his attention to detail, desire for quality, and is a master at pulling all the necessary elements together to create boards that surf and look like fine art.

Wayne has decided to start his Tuflite quiver with the Fun Design Series; 4 very well rounded shapes: 6’3”, 6’6”, 6’9”, and 7’2”. Do not be fooled by the “Fun” in the name; these boards are HOT! All are round-pintails that have exceptional volume flow and performance rocker built for the average to above-average size surfer.

Wider with more volume and slightly softer plan-shape curves. This creates great paddling qualities, plus the ability to run across flat sections. It also enhances the board's drive out of your turns and down the line speed and tube riding momentum. The idea is to retain the manoeuvrability of the modern design yet maintain the boards superior paddling qualities. The hybrid has a larger wide point and wider tail than the freeform board. This board is fast over flat spots and has great manoeuvrability in the critical section of a wave. It's great in small playful waves and works well for bigger people. More info
