Established in Hawaii in 1995, Pyzel Surfboards specializes in creating ultra-high performance surfboards and always works to improve our designs to suit all different levels of surfer. We are based in our factory on Oahu's North Shore, but Jon Pyzel shapes around the world in California, Japan, and Europe. This allows us to fine tune designs for all kinds of waves, from mild (Japan), to nuts (Teahupoo!!). We make boards for everyone, from top-level pros, to guys who just want to have a fun session down the street and everyone in between. We like to customize our models to suit the individual surfer and surf. All our boards are built "by surfers, for surfers", which means you will never get a pop-out from China or Viet-nam, only the real thing built by craftsman who have dedicated their lives to building boards!

Board Review

John John's new 5'6" TL2 is the latest generation of his shortboard design. The bottom has plenty of concave and rocker, made for generating speed and lift for big airs, while still being ultra responsive for heavy snapping. The board is designed with world travel in mind, so that it will work in a wide variety of surf, from weak beachbreaks to hollow reefs.
Fast, loose, and super fun, this board will allow every grom to raise their surfing up to the next level.
